The Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni was built as a private home in 1853 and turned into a luxury hotel in 1873. The Mistral Restaurant is the more formal, elegant, refined restaurant and it is located on the spectacular terrace overlooking the lake. Thanks to the creativity and passionate commitment of Executive Chef Ettore Bocchia, since 2005 the Mistral got 1 Michelin star. In 2013 the Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni gained another prestigious and valuable asset: Carlo Pierato, in 2014 has been awarded as the best Maître d’Hotel and Manuel Ferrari in 2015 as the best Pastry Chef of the year by the Espresso Restaurant Guide. The Mistral offers also a tasting menu of molecular cuisine, of which Bocchia is the leading Italian expert. During the week-ends, the Mistral is open both for lunch and dinner while during the week days it is open in the evening. Every night the dinner is accompanied by live music. From Monday to Friday, Mistral can be reserved at lunch for private or corporate events.
La Goletta Restaurant is a casual restaurant located next to the swimming pool area, where a cozy and casual atmosphere flows all day long inspired by the boats of the lake. The restaurant offers dishes of traditional Italian cuisine and an excellent Gastro Pizza made with natural raising agents, a creation of Chef Bocchia. La Goletta gives its guests the opportunity to have lunch whenever they want because it is open continuously from noon to 11,00 pm.
For well-being, Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni offers two separate spaces for beauty and fitness. The area dedicated to beauty of Villa Serbelloni SPA offers a relaxed atmosphere and a wide range of wellness programs including single treatments, “Beauty Day” experience or weekend or weekly programs. Inside the SPA, guests may let themselves be pampered in the original Twin Cabin, ideal for relaxing and romantic couple’s treatments, or they may enjoy Ayurvedic-inspired massages, beauty treatments and then they may relax in the Relaxation Room. Among the products regularly used, some special treatments use the top French skincare line, Biologique Recherche.
The fitness area (850 square meters in an elegant pavilion in the park of the hotel) includes a gym, sauna, Turkish bath, squash court. One room is entirely dedicated to cardio fitness with Technogym equipment; another one is equipped for Pilates sessions. Guests can also use one tennis court and two swimming pools, one indoors and the other one outdoors with private beach facing Lake Como´s shore.
